Mironekuton is an original Japanese and 100% naturally occurring mineral stone without any further additives. Due to its many positive properties it is very popular with Japanese shrimp breeders and plant aquarists, especially when using soil bottom soil, as it considerably improves the important microbiology (bacteria, accompanying fauna).
Already during the running-in phase of the aquarium, Mironekuton is used as a mineral additive and water conditioner and thus promotes the development of the important microorganisms in the filter and substrate right from the start. In further operation Mironekuton ensures the mineral supply of the inhabitants and useful helpers in the aquarium by constant mineral release.
Mironekuton also has a stabilising effect on the pH value and thus prevents dangerous pH drops. It supports total hardness (gH), improves water quality, ion exchange capacity, plant growth and root formation, photosynthesis and the release of oxygen. It adsorbs pollutants, provides crystal clear water and removes unpleasant odours.
The Mironekuton mineral stones find their place in the aquarium and serve as a mineral depot, which is accessible to all inhabitants at any time. Alternatively, the mineral stones also find their place in filter tanks, or directly in the external filter.
Dosage in the aquarium
About 100 - 150 grams of Mironekuton mineral stone for 10 liters of water are sufficient.
In the case of stones, the minerals are released into the water much more slowly, so that the dosage in grams (g) is not comparable to that of the powder.
Tipp
The outer loose layer of the stones dissolves in the water. You can use the stone in your hand under water to distribute the powder in the pool to increase the positive effect. If you don't want this, you can also rinse the stone under running water for a short time.
