This is often the case when snails are associated with soft water animals such as bee shrimp or Taiwanese. In the same way, snails generally have poor conditions in tanks with soil as a substrate. Soil continuously breaks down carbonate compounds that are needed by snails to form their shells. Especially the high calcium content of mineral feed supports the snails in building their shells and allows a permanent cohabitation of animals that actually have different requirements.

Feeding recommendationFeed 1-2 times a week as much as the animals take up in approx. 5 minutes. Feed sparingly, usually a 5mm pad is sufficient for 15-25 shrimps.
